MIM have designed, manufactured and installed guarding to machines and equipment for various industries such as Pharmaceutical, medical, bottled whiskey and water and manufacturing industries. We provide guarding in clean room environments as well as areas of extreme temperatures or exposed to corrosive chemicals and gases.
The materials we use vary based on the customer’s requirements. We can manufacture guarding from high grade stainless steel, steel with painted or powder coated finish, Anodized aluminum, Polycarbonate, Perspex, sky bond, plastic and aluminum laminates, PVC and many more. Clear polycarbonate sheeting is our preferred product for machine guarding viewing windows as it is shatter proof and idea for production machinery where prevention of product contamination is vital. Perspex can be used also if specified by the customer.
Machine safety guarding being installed can be fixed with bolts, key locks or any fastener type. These can also be fitted with thumb screws for quick access. Zero access guarding is normally fitted with a fastener that requires a tool in order to remove.
